We've been asked for it several times, and here it is! Our famous homemade pizza dough recipe!

Ingredients

  • 400g flour

  • 8g fresh baker's yeast

  • 7g fine salt

  • 1 pinch of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 220ml warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix the yeast with 100 ml of warm water and 50 g of flour in a medium bowl.
    Let it ferment for at least 30 minutes, covering the bowl with a damp cloth.
  2. In another bowl, mix the remaining flour with the salt, sugar, and extra virgin olive oil. Once well blended, add it to the yeast mixture and slowly add the remaining water.
  3. Knead the dough thoroughly until smooth and supple. Form 4 balls of dough into 4 large bowls, covering each with plastic wrap. Let them rise in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours (ideally 48 to 60 hours).
  4. Once the dough balls are ready to use, increase the temperature of your pizza oven, flatten the balls by hand on your floured work surface and create a ½ cm thick dough and top with your favorite ingredients!
